Stardust

First book of the year. Stardust.

An exciting and fast-paced book that plunges people into an entirely different world.

I guess this is the power of fantasy... escapism and wild adventures beyond those that one can ever experience in their mundane lives.

Things i don't like about the book?

The villians die too easily and quickly. The fact that Tristan gave up his heart's desire so easily.
Feels more like a fable with a moral to tell than a real story.

Hmm..

Enjoyed it but well... not really my kind of book.

Ratings: 3/5

Next book: The Mortification Of Sin by John Owen

JIEJIE!!!
I just realized that you had Fight Club by Chuck Palahniuk on your list too... Be very prepared to see his writing awesomeness. =D When it comes to angst, he's my favorite. Plus, he's one of the very few authors that I know that's not afraid to write in a completely different style. Diary by him is good too. I read Choke and Rant too, but Rant is an oral biography (whatever you call it... lol). I want to read Lullaby!! Oh yeah he wrote a new book last year called Pygmy. The writing style was different, but at least that shows that he has a mind of his own. ;)
Hehe, alrighty, I think I'll go read Jane Eyre & To Kill a Mocking Bird... We should so go to the library together next time. ^0^
Love you jiejie~ ^0^
